8 Be A Nurse

MayDay Staffing Solutions has become a corporate sponsor for “Be A Nurse Campaign,” with Johnson & Johnson. We have received the presentation materials from Johnson & Johnson, which include videos, brochures, and scrub tops with the Johnson & Johnson logo, to assist us in the presentations.

Our plan is to visit as many schools, of all grades in Los Angeles County, to encourage young people to think about their future and the options that they have available to them.

Are you a nurse who would like to help with the nursing shortage? You can start by becoming an "Advocate for Nursing"! This means you're committed to spreading the word about this great profession–to students, patients, and waiters–whoever will listen!

The job outlook is tough these days, but one job is in high demand– nursing. Did you know that well paying jobs for Registered Nurses are available in almost every city in America? MayDay Staffing Solutions, Inc's. awards a scholarship of $250.00 to a qualified employee of MSS or their immediate family member to continue their education in a nursing education program. Preference is given to undergraduate students. Applicants must demonstrate a serious commitment to the academic study of nursing and career excellence. This Scholarship is not renewable and will only be awarded once.

Eligibility Requirements:

Applicants must be students who have applied to, or Already been admitted to, a college or university program on a full-time basis.

Checklist:

Completed and signed application form.

Three letters of recommendation from individuals who can personally attest to your academic abilities and personal character.

(These cannot be your relatives).

Essay (approximately 1-2 pages).

Official transcripts of high school/and or college courses completed.
